It's really hard to do when you save a video to your computer. Find vidoes online and save on your computer is really hard to do. In general, you need a converter or somesort website.
I would just copy and paste the link .. and inserting a hyperlink to PowerPoint slide. .... Fair:
1) Copy and paste the link.
Is link, right-click 2) glued
3) Click the Edit Hyperlink
4) is displayed in the "Text" video kind of view "or something.

If you have Windows XP or 2003, on the Insert menu, choose Movies and Sound and film archives.
If you have installed the Volume 2007, select the Insert tab. In group media clip select films and archive film material.
