Crater Lake is a travel "day" ... This is a beautiful view of the lake, but there's nothing you can "do" in or on them. Wallowa Lake is to remain a "there and the things Lake" ... whatever is lovely, and there are many different things that you do in or near to. Why do not you go to Wallowa Lake, and then "see the crater lake in a day of their stay in Oregon?
